I am wanting to get my 9 and 11 year old a bike that they can both ride.
I am thinking of an auto to start with as neither of them have riden before.
My budget is around between $500 and $750. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of bike (manufacturer) would be good.
Are the cheap Pit Bikes from China any good. I suspect not as I have read on a few eBay forums that the parts are almost impossible to get and they break easy.

I had a Chinese 125cc 'pit' bike, a few years ago, bought for $600, and never had problems for parts as there is a 'Power Cycles' shop near my house (motorbike, buggy and parts shop for Chinese bikes). Only trouble was trying to talk to one of the guys that runs the shop and that doesn't speaky any English.

Now have a 200cc Chinese quad and still don't have any problems getting parts for it.

If you see the 'Pit Pro' brand bikes, I'd steer clear of those as they're way more expensive than the other brands and they're just as crap, if not worse.

Might be some interesting info here: http://www.dirtbikefanatic.com/125-dirt-bike-for-sale.html
